Submit a Script

Scripts submissions for ANPF 2012 are now closed. The four winning playwrights will be notified in June. Festival week for playwrights is Sunday to Sunday, October 21 to 28, 2012 (with public performances October 24 to 28).

Scripts for ANPF 2013 will be accepted beginning August 20, 2012. Each script must be accompanied by a completed ANPF 2013 Application (available in summer) and the $15 application fee. The deadline for script submissions for ANPF 2013 is January 15, 2013.

ANPF is a stand‐alone, self‐funded organization that is run entirely by volunteers. Each year we must raise the funds to rent a theater space for the weeklong festival; pay stipends to the winning playwrights, directors, performers, and technicians; provide weeklong housing in local bed‐and‐breakfasts for the winning playwrights; and cover all printing and publicity costs for the festival. The $15 fee for each play submission helps defray the costs of copying and distributing blinded copies of that play to our extensive volunteer Reading Committee.
