This parliament of Barred Owls was photographed at the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida

Owls are typically solitary, except in breeding season, when they pair off. If you see a parliament of owls in the wild, it's most likely a family. Barred Owls typically lay one to five almost perfectly round white eggs a few days apart, so the chicks are different sizes.
